Skydive Cancellation
Skydive Seven or another partner that promote jumps operated by Skydive Seven, reserves the right to cancel all experiences, promotions or services without prior notice. The jump may be scheduled for another available date. Our (decision on our initiative) effective cancellations, we will always refund the reserve deposits, except: Early Bird and Last Minute bookings (without contact us in advance) and other special or promo deals.
Minimum Age to Skydive
Participants must be at least 16 years of age. Individuals aged 16 or 17 are required to submit a completed parental or legal guardian consent form, which can be provided in advance upon request. Maximum Age: Participation is permitted up to the age of 80. To request the necessary consent documentation, please contact us via WhatsApp or email at info@skydiveseven.pt.
Skydive Booking Hour
The selected hour for your Algarve Tandem Skydive booking is only an approximation of the time zone you are willing to do your tandem, this does not mean you will be jumping at that specific time. This can be changed! (must be available within a 4-hour time window) You will receive a notification or call of the change. If you do not agree with the hour, contact us. Rejecting the invitation from our calendar (Google Calendar) does not result in the cancellation of the jump!
Smart Glasses and AI-Enabled Devices
At Skydive Seven, the use of personal smart glasses equipped with cameras, audio recording capabilities, and integrated AI features is permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, devices such as Ray-Ban Meta, Meta Glasses, Oakley Meta, and similar products from other manufacturers. However, the use of such devices during any skydive activity requires the mandatory purchase of the official Video and Photo package, charged at the full rate. Any images, videos, or recordings captured using these devices are intended strictly for personal and private use only. In accordance with applicable data protection and privacy legislation, including privacy and image rights, the publication, sharing, distribution, or disclosure of any content featuring other customers, participants, or third parties without their prior consent is strictly prohibited.
Deposit Refund Policy
Deposits are refundable, with at least 48 hours’ notice. When booking a Tandem Skydive online or at our counter, please ensure you meet our technical requirements for the jump, including age, weight and physical condition. If you make a reservation and do not meet these conditions. No deposit refund for Ealy Bird Bookings! For some bookings (mistakes, error in choosing the company and similar), deposit paid with credit cards, administrative fees ranging from €5 to €20 may be deducted from the payment.
Payment Methods
For the online booking system and deposit payment we have 4 payment methods available: Multibanco, MB Way, VISA (credit cards) and PayPal. Locally on our airfield, if you wish to pay with Credit Cards you have 3% extra fee, and 5% extra fee for PayPal. If you wish to avoid this extra fees, you must pay in cash, Multibanco or MB Way. If you want to withdraw money, there is a machine outside the airfield!
Booking Process
We accept last minute reservations or reservations several months in advance. You will have confirmation by email, phone or WhatsApp. If it is a last minute booking you should call +351 937 137 137. If you have been deep sea diving in the last 24 hours you cannot skydive.
For last minute reservations, less than 72 hours before the jump, you must contact Customer Support in advance +351 937 137 137. Without this prior contact, we assume that you will have total flexibility in terms of time to adjust your booking to our schedule availability. There are no refunds on deposits for Last Minute reservations that don’t contact us in advance.
Last-Minute Policy
All last-minute bookings made less than 24 hours in advance are subject to different cancellation and deposit refund policies. You must be available and flexible within a 6-hour window to allow us to adjust the reservation according to our schedule. If we are unable to reach you via email, phone, WhatsApp, or SMS, your reservation will be considered void, and the deposit will not be refunded. Please note: Bookings made overnight for the same day are also considered last-minute.
Health and Weight
The maximum weight is 110kg, there is some tolerance up to 110kg with a special fee price table. Talk with your personal doctor if you have any of the following chronic problems: respiratory, cardiovascular, orthopaedic, fainting, epilepsy, or any other relevant problem. A skydive jump is performed from an altitude with a rapid descent to 5,000 feet. There may be an imbalance in air pressure between the inner ear and the external environment. For safety reasons, all customers weighing over 100kg are only allowed to jump from 15,000 feet. Please take note of this when booking!
Airfield Checkin Rules
The Portimão Airfield is an aeronautical public facility under the management of the Portimão municipality, mandatory to bring identification (ID Card) to be able to enter inside the (Dropzone), either to skydive or watch some one skydiving.
Skydive in Group
We cannot guarantee the number of tandem customers jumping on each aircraft flight, nor that groups can all jump together. Whilst we do our best to accommodate our customers needs you should be prepared to skydive without any other tandem customers on the aircraft with you.
Tandem Jumps Order
The jumps are made according to the schedule and the order of arrival, based on online reservations. However, the organisation of the jumps can be changed so that Skydive Seven can optimize all the available resources, airplanes, air traffic clearances, customers’ weight among other logistical options.
Vouchers Validity
Vouchers are issued with 24 months (since July, 6th 2021). If you have exceeded this period, the voucher is not valid any more. If you want to extend the voucher more 90 days, will have a €60 fee, this must be requested inside the voucher validity. Vouchers are able to be transferred to someone else. Vouchers are non-refundable.
Skydive Video or Photos
The jumps can be recorded in HD Video and Photo, option services. The files, after editing of Skydive Seven, are delivered in person or sent via online Wetransfer or similar online file upload service. You must check if your email is correct before submitting the registration form.
Booking Confirmation
Skydiving activity depends heavily on several external factors, many of which we can not control or anticipate. Meteorology, supplies, air traffic control, aircraft operation, among others that can affect our activity. We advise you to contact us the day before your reservation.
Formal Complaints
Skydive Seven (Treino Avançado, Lda) have a complaints book located in the front office for anyone wishing to make a formal complaint. Any other complaints should be submitted in writing by email to info@skydiveseven.pt or by post to Treino Avançado, Aeródromo Municipal de Portimão, Montes de Alvor. 8500-059 Montes de Alvor.
Tandem Skydive from Lisbon
The booking deposit price are the domestic flight tickets, they are not refundable if the skydiving experience is canceled. Skydiving activity depends heavily on several external factors, many of which we can not control or anticipate.
Clothing & Footwear
Bring comfortable clothes on the day of your tandem skydive, we suggest jeans, T-shirt or Sweatshirt. Footwear, sports shoes. If you do not have any of this, do not worry, we have shoes and clothes for you.
Extra Weight Fees
From 90 kg to 99.9 kg = 19€, 100 kg to 109.99 kg = 39€, + 110kg = 49€. A Tandem passenger with over 110 kg will be subjected to an evaluation by a professional Skydive Seven instructor. For safety reasons, all customers weighing over 100kg are only allowed to jump from 15,000 feet. Please take note of this when booking!
Lockers
Skydive Seven have locker, with a deposit of €1, where you can store your personal belongings. Upon use, a unique key will be delivered. The use of the lockers is your responsibility, the loss of the key implies a payment of €20 for the break-in service and installation of a new system.
Give up and No-show
Free cancellation with full refund if you contact us by email, phone or chat 72 hours before the day you have booked the skydive experience (Tandem Skydive). No-show means there is no right to refund the deposit amount. Early Bird bookings we will not apply refunds.
Deposit Amount
Advance payment of part of the total amount, paid at the booking moment. The remaining amount is paid locally on the day. The amount will not be refunded in case of NO SHOW. The deposit can be used for 12 months from the first date of booking. At the end of this period, the reservation is null without refund of the deposit amount.
Forbiden Objets
Inside the plane or during the skydiving experience, for safety reasons, the following personal items are prohibited: earrings, necklaces, analogue or digital watches, lighters, cell phones, camcorders, knives and other sharp or explosive objects!
Experience Duration
The average time for Tandem Skydive Experiences are 1h to 2h, however, many external factors and internal organisation can greatly increase the waiting time in high or low season. For example: hot days, traffic and local air control, delay of other customers, organisation of the total weight of the group, among many other factors specific to air activities.
Food / Meals
Tandem jumping is an extraordinary experience, so feed yourself with light meals and without exaggeration. It is forbidden to drink alcoholic beverages on the day of the jump.
External Cameraflyer
This service is only available in the tandem jump at 15,000 feet and with reservation and advance payment at least 48 hours in advance, it is still limited by the daily management of the skydiving air operation!
